Brighten Image In Paint 3d. Click and drag the sun icon in the light wheel to change the distribution of light. To lighten a photo with layers press ctrl shift d to create a new layer.

Click and drag the sun icon in the light wheel to change the distribution of light. To adjust brightness or contrast use the brightness or contrast slider bar. Now choose any color of your choice from the color list given under the effects tab as shown in the following image.

To adjust image fade use the fade slider bar. Bring it into paint 3d and use both 3d doodle tools to trace around the image and pop it out into 3d. Image layers give you another way to lighten a picture. Then click adjustment hue saturation and drag the lightness bar to edit the selected picture area.
